The Society We Serve is an APDesign program that keeps students’ eyes on the graduation prize through vital academic support, such as a summer orientation course for first-year students and opportunities to take advantage of mentors and peer supporters.
The initiative continues to assist throughout the academic journey, so far awarding more than $240,000 to low-income students who encountered financial struggles as they work toward a diploma — assistance that’s achieved a remarkable retention rate of 93% as a result!
