What is K-State Day of Giving?

K-State Day of Giving is an annual virtual fundraising effort and all-around celebration of the many things we love about K-State. This 24-hour event will take place April 9, 2025. On this day, K-State alumni, faculty, staff, retirees, students, parents, friends and fans are encouraged to give back to the university and help us fulfill our land-grant promise  even small donations can make a big impact in helping K-State transform lives and change the world.

Gifts can make an even bigger impact through our hourly and daylong challenges, and any gift can help your favorite unit (campus, college, school, program or student organization) claim the top spot on our donation and participation leaderboards, which will win them bonus funds!

I remember All in for K-State day of giving. How is this different?

Between 2019-2023, K-Staters came together to solve specific problems and enhance students’ K-State experience through philanthropy All in for K-State day of giving. Programs that flourished from this former style of giving day include Cats' Cupboard food pantry, Textbooks 2.0 through K-State Libraries, Mental Health Services and Financial Futures

All In for K-State gave Wildcats the opportunity to support one cause. K-State Day of Giving, launching with this year's 2025 event, gives you a chance to celebrate and support all things K-State — across every program and every campus

What can I support through K-State Day of Giving?

Everyone can choose where their donation goes—toward virtually any K-State program, initiative or fund.

If you don’t wish to prioritize a specific cause, you can donate to your favorite unit’s excellence fund, which allocates your donation to their area of greatest need. Every gift, no matter the size, will make a big difference!
